    Born and raised in the Garden State, our founder's journey began young, with a deep passion for art and design. Nurtured by a childhood spent watching the talented hands of her Grandmother and Father, both master artists. In those cozy studios of her childhood, she spent countless hours of sketching, while observing them paint, sculpt, and create award-winning artwork. These formative moments fostered her lifelong love of creativity. To this day, our founder pulls inspiration from the treasured reference books, paintbrushes and art tools passed down from her family. This creative upbringing, along with her keen eye for detail and appreciation for intricate patterns laid the groundwork for the creation of Pigment & Petal. Chelsea Soisson blends over 12 years of print design experience — from boutique studios to major luxury brands — with a passion for creating bespoke, hand-illustrated home decor. Drawing inspiration from the beauty of nature and timeless elegance of classic style, our studio offers unique, high-quality pieces that effortlessly transform everyday spaces into cheerful, and refined retreats. We desire to create products that are not only beautiful but also meaningful.
